Finally

.. i got myself my first gaming console, the PlayStation 3. Also bought Guitar Hero 5 which is awesome and already got the chance to play with Vicky Ivo Renato and Nathalie.. fun times :)

I'm just beginning to explore the new tech stuff that comes along with it, and am totally impressed. The whole PlayStation Network (PS3 has wireless wich is a huuuuge advantage) with the Store and Home and everything else is off the charts. Already downloaded some demos, trailers, videos, created my online account.. it's a great new world with lots of fun stuff. AND, i can be here typing stuff with the PS3 remote by my side controling the new downloads... guess i never really realized how much wires we always dealt with.. wireless guitars, remotes and connections give another kind of experience. But what do i know, it's my first ever gaming toy at 25.. lol.

:D !!!

Milestones

Dunno why but it sudenly makes more sense to express myself in english. Doesn't matter anyway.

The Sep 21st and 22nd will prevail as a couple more of those days i'll remember forever, as i finally finished the last exam of my masters degree and then got the good news. And as a good boy i went out to celebrate with my buddies at Alicarius and then went at Sandy's to start the celebrations. These early weeks in the new school year are so good to hang out, there's no lack of options in order to have a night out. We eventualy end up at Santos partying to the sound of Offspring, ACDC, Nirvana.. no complaints there, the classics always pump us up. It was a great great evening.

And as for the next day of the rest of my life, i went to Fátima to hapilly pay dues and got back to find the new freshmen getting their welcoming festivities. Gosh i miss some of that. 2morrow, gonna get some pending issues worked out and then i'll be eager to celebrate the weekend with Thalie and Vicky Renato Ivo, looking forward to that. Gotta reward the lady for these last couple of anxious weeks, and get my groove on with a poker night with the boys. Btw i'm SO happy and relieved that i didn't cancel the Amsterdam/Brussels trip in vain.. uff :)

Reflexões de um Verão incaracterístico..

I'm making this quick and simple, haven't really been in the mood for long posts and gotta try not to forget any of the stuff i've been doing.

Went to spend a weekend in a lost village called Drave, by the mountains. Vicky Renato Ivo and i packed and went on a Saturday to spend the night in complete darkness and loneliness. Had to leave the car behind and carry all the stuff with us for a couple of miles (by supplies i mean the tents, sleeping bags, poker chips, some clothes, 5lt of red wine and almost no food at all). We eventualy found a great lagoon, some scouts and 2 hippie travelers - from Germany and Italy - and a beautiful abandoned village with its misteries and wonders. Time went by rather quickly, but we still had time to.. i dunno.. jump out of 4/8mt cliffs, taunt the scouts, serenade in the nude, drink (a lot), perform with vocals guitar and harmonica, sleep outside, wake up and cook breakfast with our hippie friends (homemade coffee and meat provided by the scouts, nham) and get a sun burn returning to the car. Awesome ride, must say.

Next, i had planned for my vacations to get to know the Portuguese coast a little better. Thalie and i spent some days in Ribamar, Torres Vedras with my best friend Vânia and her friends and dogs (loved to get to know the golden retrivier Clark and the chow-chow Myuki even better) and enjoyed it even more because i always spend the best time with Vânia, she's awesome. We got to visit Portinho da Arrábida in Sesimbra (below Setúbal) and it was the most paradisiac scenario.

After that, we kept going south and stayed a couple of days in Alentejo, having the oportunity to know VN Milfontes and it's buuuurning sun, which left its mark in both of us. It was the truly relaxing part of the trip, and we enjoyed the romantic part of it a lot :)

Next thing was comming back to Aveiro and start moving, i have a new spot in the house and spent some days remodeling it completely. Still waiting for the couch and PS3, those are comming soon. It's quite good right now, tks to IKEA and Moviflor :P

Last couple of weeks i've been living with loads of anxiety due to my last exam (2 actually). Hopefuly it will all be over soon.

Over and out now :)
